The Lexile measure is a quantitative measurement of a text's complexity based on word difficulty and sentence length. The Lexile score for each XBOOK or Stretch Text is indicated above the corresponding bar on the graph.

The Qualitative Measure rates a text's complexity on a scale from Basic to Complex 2. The QM rating for an XBOOK or Stretch Text is listed under the title in each bar on the graph.
