Eyes on the Solar Eclipse
On Monday, August 21, 2017, sky watchers across the United States are gearing up to get a glimpse of the total solar eclipse. This eclipse will be the first to go coast to coast across the U.S. since 1918, and millions of people anticipate watching the moon completely cover the sun (or partially, depending on where you are) and turn day into night — even if for only a few minutes. As you count down to the solar eclipse, learn more about this cosmic phenomemon with related science resources to fill all of your eclipse curiousity.
