March is National Women's Month, a time designated to reflect upon, recognize, and celebrate the achievements, leadership, and courage of women. While women weren't even able to vote until 1920, just under 100 years later they make up approximately 20% of the US House of Representatives and 22% of the US Senate, historically high percentages. Follow the links below to learn more about the suffrage movement that resulted in women's right to vote, as well as their role in and impact upon the democratic process.
